Liangmo cattle house environment improvement-Jiangxi Gaoan Project

The production of beef cattle in China is mainly distributed in the four main producing areas, namely the northeast producing area, the central producing area, the northwest producing area and the southwest producing area. Among them, the beef cattle houses in the Central producing areas and Southwestern producing areas are mostly open and semi-open or a small number of window-type beef cattle houses, the fence structure of the cow house is poorly insulated, the ventilation mode of the cow house is natural ventilation, and the high temperature in the beef cattle house in Summer in the Central Plains area and the southwestern production area will affect the production performance of beef cattle, high humidity environment will aggravate the high temperatures impact for cattle.


China Agricultural University combines the actual conditions and regional characteristics of China's beef cattle farms, focusing on more effective methods and techniques for summer cooling of cattle houses. In 2013, the research team led by Professor Liu of China Agricultural University conducted experimental research in the cattle houses of Haozhou, Anhui, Gao'an,Anhui and Wuqing, Tianjin.
The project is ventilated and cooled by the evaporative water curtain fan and the Liangmo fabric cloth duct.

Project Introduction:

Project requirements:

This project requires replacement ventilation to ensure that the temperature below 1.5m in the barn is below 28°C, preferably not above 29°C, because the height of the cow's back is about 1.2m, and the back of the cow is 0.5m away from the ground when lying down, so it is 10cm away from the ground. The temperature should be as low as possible within the range of 10-120 cm. The temperature stratification height should be above 1.6m.

Project design:

The Liangmo cloth duct is infiltrated at the time of design and adopts a high-density small hole outflow method, and different small hole densities and diameters are used in different directions and positions. The cold air entering the house creates a cold air lake , and the hot air generated by the cow is discharged upward by the heat buoyancy.
